Svarmi welcomes James d’Ath from the TNFD to Iceland for Nature Day

We are excited to welcome James d’Ath from the Taskforce on Nature-Related Financial Disclosure (TNFD) to Iceland to speak at Svarmi´s inaugural Nature Day conference on 11th April 2024.

The majority of our economy depends on nature. This, paired with growing reporting requirements, such as the new EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), are shaping increased interest in the management of nature-related risks and opportunity across the corporate value chain. Svarmi´s and Festa’s Nature Day will be an opportunity for companies and financial institutions to hear from experts in the fields of nature and biodiversity to better understand how they can set and achieve nature targets and prepare themselves for mandatory disclosures under the CSRD. 

Our keynote speaker for Nature Day will be James d´Ath, Data & Analytics Technical Lead for the TNFD. James will be discussing the TNFD´s work, introducing the TNFD LEAP framework and discussing more broadly the risks and opportunities companies face in relation to their interactions with nature. We will also be hearing from Icelandic companies about the progress that is already being made in relation to biodiversity and nature positivity within Iceland.
